The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
